So, even though the Grand Comics Database credits both pencils and inks to the Late Great Nick Cardy, those who I believe to be far more well informed than me have said that Frank Springer is the most likely artist to be the penciler. All I know is that growing up, it looked like Nick Cardy to me and I loved the story, even though this issue was printed when I was just turning 1, in 1968. I found it in the basement of an old used bookstore in Montreal where my parents would take me to buy back issues of comics when I was growing up.
Now my goal is the try and reassemble the entire issue. I already have just over half of the 24 pages in my possession and so if you have a page or two from this book, I would appreciate hearing from you even if you aren't looking to sell it or are looking to trade for other art. All I ask that if you ever do think about selling it, that shoot me a line to see if I'm in a position to acquire it.
