I really enjoy Mr. Sale and his fans. In Baltimore (2008), the fans from Mr. Sale's message board came over to Barry Kitson's line, and so we all got to know each other. It is common knowledge that Mr. Kitson has the best fans, but that notion was challenged by Mr. Sale's group. What truly, truly nice people. I wish I was more of a "message board" type of guy, so I could be a part of this group on a regular basis. Wouldn't a Tim Sale birthday commission be great for son, like so many of Mr. Sale's special occasion commissions (love the engagement Lois & Superman, but the follow-up first born? You could make a grown man cry. And Mr. Sale and his wife? The superstar "Hollywood" artist (and his beautiful, and very kind partner), who is so famous and mainstream that he shouldn't even be at a comic convention? That guy is just the best. Loves his fans, loves sharing his art, and just seems thankful to everyone I saw him speak to. Thank you Mr. Sale, we don't you for granted!
