Hard Boiled Splash by Geof Darrow

I love Darrow's work and I distinctly remember seeing it for the first time when Hard Boiled first hit the stand. Oversized and sporting the most detailed art I had ever seen. It was overwhelming and the details were mind blowing...I was in love. I have had some cool Hard Boiled pieces pass through my collection and didn't think that much about parting with the last one a decade ago as they seemed to be relatively available and then they seemed to disappear around that time. I have had other Darrow pieces from other projects I like but Hard Boiled, which he collaborated on Frank Miller for, will forever be his most important work in my mind. Here is a great splash from a sequence of splashes where the robots remove their outer skins. One of the most memorable scenes in the comic. Very happy to add this piece to its new forever home.
