Description
When I was growing up I loved anything with the NASA Space Program. When they the astronauts trained for missions in space one of the ways was to ride in the "Vomit Comet". Which was able to duplicate weightless environment or zero-g.
Mercury astronauts originally used C-131 Samaritan aircraft. Later a Twin KC-135 Stratotankers were used until 2004. From 2005 NASA replaced the aircraft with a McDonnell Douglas C-9B Skytrain II (N932NA) until 2014 when NASA canceled the Reduced Gravity Research Program and ceased operations. NASA currently uses Zero Gravity Corporation (ZERO-G) and flies Boeing 727-200.
As a kid I always dreamed of going into space and training on the "Vomit Comet", fast forward and for my 50th birthday I was able to fly ZERO-G. I got to experience weightlessness zero-g, along with 1/6 (Mars) and 1/3 (Lunar) gravity. It was one of the most amazing experiences.
I am looking to complete the sequence, looking for Sky Masters Dailies 3/23/59-3/26/59. Email me if you know where one is. Thanks.
