McCorkindale, Bruce - Recreation of Jeffrey Jones' Dark Mansion of Forbidden Love #3

Bruce McCorkindale's re-creation of Jeffrey Jones's cover art to THE DARK MANSION OF FORBIDDEN LOVE #3. Pen, brush, ink, wash, and watercolour pencils on 13 X 20" bristol board.

Bruce really had to go the extra mile on this recreation - he started and stopped and began again three times on this one to get everything just right. Even with the "finished" third attempt I mentioned a bit of a problem with the face being too much of an undefined oval. Bruce went back in and added a little upturn of hair that Jeffrey Jones had in the original which Bruce didn't like at first and it really helped nail the recreation.
