DescriptionWe all have these grails. Ones that you wish you owned the art for. This is one of them. Back in 1994, I saw this piece on the cover to Advance Comics as a promo for Ninjak #1 (which ended up being one of the top 10 comics of the year, selling around a million copies)...and excited by Quesada's take on the character. His work was exciting, intricate and took the character many rungs up from his original staid portrayal by Perlin/Dixon (apologies). I loved the piece so much I even did a copy pencil drawing of the work. Will need to dig that one out! Sadly, Quesada would only work on 3 issues of Ninjak. Fast forward 26 years later, here it is. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do. |
