Which piece in your gallery is your favorite and why?
I don't really have one piece I like above the other. Each piece of art I own caught my eye for one reason or another. If I had to choose one piece as a favorite, I would probably choose Flash #131 page 22 with art by Paul Ryan. It's a final page splash featuring the 1st appearance of Wally's Speed Force costume.
Please tell us a little about yourself.
I am a 50 year old comic fan and former comic retailer. I currently live in Houston, TX and work in the video editing field. I have been collecting Original Art for over 20 years now.
How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start?
I have been collecting Original Art for over 20 years now. I bought my first piece of art in 1997 and was persuaded to do so by a friend of mine, Henry Huie, who at the time had a massive collection of comic and fantasy art. He pointed out that anyone can own a copy of a comic book, but only one person can own the original art for each of the pages inside.
How do you display/store your collection at home?
Some is framed, but since I don't have a lot of room to display my art, I keep most of it in portfolios that I can flip through at any time.
What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions?
