11x17 painting by Dave Sim during the "Cerebus TV" days - originally unpublished but used recently as the slipcover image to the mondo hardcover edition of "High Society" by Waverly Comics (and I provided the scan), so I am calling this a published cover. Sparkles� lots of sparkles. The selection and design of the Regency Elf derived from a merger of the Elfquest frenzy, Tinker Bell's visuals, and Debbie Harry (as Dave would say later in an interview "The look of the Regency Elf was my shameless peroxide tribute to Blondie lead singer Deborah Harry whom I adored at the time with a passion that surpasseth human understanding.")
