Description

The best thing about Countdown was the covers, especially by Benes. This one was one of my favorite. All the Val Armorr Karate Kids are dead now, Bruce Wayne is stuck in the past, making Black Canary one of the top martial artists in the DC Universe currently. Thanks Ed and Sandra for such a strong, kick-ass cover !!! There is a cool listing in wikipedia of Master and their pupils, only Karate Kid since he is from the future is not included in the list but Batman was bested by Val in the Lightning Saga....Val was listed as a Class-15 fighter where Batman is a Class-12.... http://www.castleparadox.com/uncommon/dumbolwiki/Martial%20artists%20in%20DC%20Comics%20-%20Wikipedia,%20the%20free%20encyclopedia.htm
