"Much thanks to HERO INITIATIVE for making it possible for me to meet one of my idols since i was a little kid---the great George Perez. I was awestruck and at times, pinching myself wondering if this were really happening....it was surreal. I turned 10 years old again. I won this lunch on ebay at the Phoenix Comic-Con 2007. We were joined by Brian Pulido (Lady Death!!!) and was able to ask him questions that have been on my mind all these years. I watched him work on my sketch while we ate. There were so many characters George has drawn and really picking one was a daunting task for me, but I really wanted to own a Wonder Woman from him and the image that i wanted most was her in her cape with a sword---as we saw her in Infinite Crisis--It was so much fun and really amazing to spend that time with George....definitely one of the many highlights from collecting this year....." ---written 10 years ago!
