Yes, it perfectly captures the sense of balance typical of those born under the sign of Libra. I find that Nives's style — which undoubtedly shares some traits with her brother Milo’s — reveals her remarkable sensitivity.

I find the composition of the drawing and the figure of Ulula magnificent, but what literally leaves you speechless in this work are the colors... it's not clear from this low-quality image, but they are so vibrant that they give the impression the cover was just painted!

I don't think that the breasts and the position of the hand are the only things to consider in this cover, which, in my opinion, has a much milder and more elegant eroticism compared to many others from that era...

Yes, as we can see in the additional image this a faithful representation of Shion frome the anime. Hayama sensei was the Animation Director of the episode where Shion fights against Libra Dohko.

a "lovely girl" who would rather be abused by a stranger than be in the company of her husband... the horrible consequences of boredom and dissatisfaction !

Thank you for your comment Marcus.. I just want to clarify that Gerald Scarfe actually is the cartoonist and illustrator who worked with Pink Floyd and illustrated The Wall, both the album and the movie. 

Here I asked him to depict a scared Pink facing two of the most influential characters in his life, the Professor and the Wife, wondering about his own guilt.

Behind them the Judge (in which I see Pink's conscience) stands, severe, biding his moment.

Look also at Eva's neck and breasts, or Diabolik's shoulder, there are no boundary lines, he creates the volumes just with fast movements and applying more or less pression on the brush tip.

Thanks for your comment Marcus, beautiful details indeed. But what is really impressive in Palumbo's art, according to me, is his wise use of the brush and the black ink in creating shapes and volumes with only a few touches. I love to see him draw his way.

Grazie Fabio, non mi aspettavo che il Sensei Maeda portasse i suoi originali pubblicati dell'epoca... ne sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso e questa tavola, per me, spiccava tra tante (oltre ad essere un giusto compromesso tra l'erotico e l'esponibile in casa !)

I completely agree with you, Marcus! I love these old-style Italian Disney covers, they take me back in time, although I wasn't born yet in 1956 (actually August '56 is when my father was born!). Also, I love Vergani's style and I find it "smoohter" than other contemporary artists'. The drawing is faithful to the original animation and perfectly conveys Mickey's personality. In short, I love this cover and I'm so happy to add it to my collection!

Ciao Ciro, si tratta di un'avventura molto particolare perché la prima di Corto ambientata ai giorni nostri (anno 2001 per l'esattezza). L'ho trovata da subito un'idea interessante ed ho apprezzato la storia e, soprattutto, i disegni. Concordo con te sul discorso del digitale...
