I got in touch with the owner of the piece about 6-7 years ago, and played tag via email for years... finally we both were able to reach a window where we were both could make the deal. So stoked to own a Scud cover!
I agree. I actually had the opportunity to get the original Geoff Senior cover, but was offered it the same day a hurricane was hitting my city, so you know... couldn't commit to buying a piece of art when I didn't know if I would have a home.
Some of my favorite storylines happened after Prime was gone in the original Marvel series, and Grimlock became leader, Blaster a criminal, and the Autobots rudderless under a poor leader;
I know this page was on the Scud website, and also was used as a recap in the first few pages of "Solid Gold Bomb" .... the 2nd tpb. Great piece. Jealous.
Yeah, I was talking to him, and I asked if he had any of his 30th anniversary covers available. When he mentioned this one, I just couldn't pass it up. I had been wanting a TF cover for awhile, and very happy this is the one I got.
