I disagree, I think nowadays an artist can interpret a character any way he wants. Have you ever seen how big Simon Bisley draws Batman? Or how big Mark Texiera does Wolverine? He usually makes him look like he's 6 feet tall! I think Mr. Yen did an excellent job, and he made the choices that made HIM happy as an artist, can't wait to see more!

But tell me my friend WHY make a POSITIVE comment, and then throw in a NEGATIVE one while you're at it? As i said before I can sit here and take apart EVERY single artists work that I have posted on my site, but it's unecessary. . .because YOU or anybody else did your pieces the way YOU wanted to. . . . . I mean the Batman, Superman, Iron Fist pieces are TECHNICALLY nice, but personally i could stand to see those characters in MUCH more extreme or dynamic angles instead of looking like they posed for a full body picture , but see that's MY thing. . . . . because art is expression my friend. . .and doesn't ALWAYS hafta be looked at and scrutinized. . .
. . .i'm well aware of the skillz i have and what i'm capable of, they wont ALL be homeruns, but I've been in the game for a LONG time son. . .if you take a look at an artist named ERNIE BARNES or JUSTIN BUA I'm sure you can sit there and look at the way they draw figures and say "well the arms are TOO long or the figures torso is TOO distorted. .. but who gives a F#%K?! Does the piece make you feel good? Do you like it visually? Does it capture the essence of the character?. . . . "STIFF". . . . THAT'S IT? Come ON bro. . . . oh yeah and Dick Chaney is punk ta boot as well!!!
It's not about perfection bro. . . .but if the criticism is not about HOW someone else would do it, i'd be kool. . .but alot of the time artists need to look at a piece and say either they like it or they don't. .. .I did it EXACTLY the way I wanted to do it, and new the upsidedown thing WASN'T gonna work. . .so sometimes artists need to understand the line between CRITIQUE and SPLITTING HAIRS. . YA DIG? . . . PLUS George W. Bush is a PUNK ta boot!

I know man. . .I'm sayin'! They killed that movie in SOOOO many ways. . .he was TOO short, TOO young , the DYE job was terrible (as ALL black dye jobs are) it took place in FLORIDA! of all places!! WHY IN GODS NAME couldn't it be shot in NY where he's FROM!?! When I think of a PUNISHER movie I always think back to a movie SCHWARZZENEGGER did called "RAW DEAL" Now THAT would've been a great Punisher flick, or maybe even as dark as SEVEN or BLADE. . . .I mean it's one think to have ONE crappy movie nut to totatlly blow TWICE!?! And on top of ALL that, he doesn't even have POWERS! So you don't even NEED that much CGI! That was a case where you had a director that had NOT a clue about the character or what fans might want! Anyway I think I've said enough! LOL!
