Al BUELL - Saturday Evening Post story illustration, 1954. Owner: Fred W Comment posted on 9/20/2015 My name is Jon Buell and I am Al Buell's grandson. I am working on a coffee table book of my grandfathers story illustrations which will include a collectors list of all of his story illustrations. He painted over 40 illustrations for Saturday Evening Post, as well as paintings for Cosmopolitan, Redbook, McCalls, Ladies Home Journal, etc,. He was a very prolific painter and it is a joy for his family to see others share in the delight of his art that we have treasured all these years. Help me spread the word about the book, and please contact me if you have any questions or have any information on the history of his work. We have a few missing pieces of information that we are trying to fill in, so if you are a collector, we would love to hear from you. Jon Buell jon@buelldesign.com |
