Superbe dessin, un des plus beaux que Mitton aie réalisé ces derniers temps. Le travail sur la lumière et les ombres est tout simplement magnifique et j'aime beaucoup la petite touche d'humour, très Mittonienne, dans les yeux de la fourrure. Tout est parfait dans ce dessi : la sobriété des armes et du décor (à l'inverse des horreurs actuelles) permettent de rentrer dans l'intimité de Conan et de partager avec lui ce moment de calme et de réflexion après la bataille, sans même que la longueur de la cuisse gauche (qui me laisse un peu dubitatif, pour être parfaitement honnête)ne vienne troubler ce plaisir. BRAVO !
Of course, you won't send back the art because it's not from Big John, but if really HA have sold it by labeled it as Buscema, you should try to have a refund on the HA fees because it's at least no professionnal at all not to have a minimum check of what they sell and the reference to Buscema has unduly increased the stakes on this art, and therefore the final price ...

Yeah, you can be VERY proud to own these pages because Ernie has done a marvellous job on it : as you have perfectly described it, no words,just pure action ! A kind of "slow action" sequential art rarely seen before. And what an incredible job done on the inkings ! It may be not the best period for the drawings of Conan head by Chan (some dailies on the 1979 are more sharp and similar to Buscema style)but it's one of the best CHAN inking I've ever seen (and don't ask : I don't want to sell my page 22 but, if one day of Madness, you want to sell yours, think to me ;-).
Sorry to ruin the fun of everyone but I fear this page is not from the "wonderful duo" Buscema/Chan but only by the last one, which make a slice difference...It will be easy to check as you have the book. Beautiful pages, however. I am especially sorry that I own the original page just before (22) ...
