The sinister smile and crazy look in his eyes, something that both Green goblin and Joker share. I think thats where it ends. I love how this can be truly different but still in Timm's style. I haven't seen another green goblin by him like this. And yes...if this didn't go in YOUR collection...THE webhead collection, you'd regret it. And I might have had to unfollow your gallery :)
Talk about chasing nostalgia. I remember the FB statue collector days, the comiquette (which you convinced me to get), and collectors clambering to get the "exclusive" version. Full circle moment to own the original art to the art which was the source material for the best venom statue ever created. Huge congrats on this.
Probably my favorite piece in your collection. The layout of the webs naturally draws the eye towards spiderman. Love the negative space and heavy inks. I'm glad you finally saw the light (...or darkness I guess).

I really appreciate that. I like to take my time when writing these, often revisiting what I have written and make slight changes. If I can make someone see a peice of art slightly differently, then I've accomplished my goal. I've been in a rut recently and have a backlog of published/unpublished things to post. Its a shame to the hobby if I don't share them and they stayed trapped in an Itoya. The beauty about this hobby is I don't need to OWN the art for it to make me feel a certain way. Sometime's seeing it in someone else's gallery is enough
