It's easy to criticize, but there's an enormous amount of nostalgia for it and it was fairly novel for its time.

When it's a Marcus comment, I can't tell if pig screen is a typo or a multilayered pun. 

This was one of my favorite comics as a kid. I may have flipped through this more than any other comic I owned. The striking cover definitely didn't hurt.

I can't think of a piece that better exemplifies the transition of comic art from the 80's to the 90's. Absolutely extraordinary piece.
