Psycho Man! One of my favorite Kirby baddie designs. And this cover? Magnificent. I am fan of Byrne inking himself, but Gordon (much like Austin) really brought some artistic OOMPH to something that was already amazing. What a score! Psycho, man!

Eye like this page! Is she using a tiki drink sword? Because I like to imagine her pulling it out of a tiny cherry, bellowing her battle cry, and leaping into the fight. I used to take them out of virgin daiquiris and stab my cousin or little sister. Where was I? Oh, yeah, super sweet page. :)

Cue the dueling heavy metal guitars. This page is so cool. Could you get a better Thor page, with the lightning, the great stare down panels, and you can feel the battle about to go to 11. KRAKA-sweet! 

Art Nuveau! I was trying to put my finger on what it was about the style that was really grabbing me. What a super sweet design! All that precise fine linework is almost mesmerizing. This pairing put out amazing work, and this is just a peak example. Congrats!

That slow painful change in Werewolf in London was probably one of the big reasons it was such a cult hit. I like my wolfy transformations long and painful, too, just like mom used to make. Very cool sequences, and I really enjoy how he laid out this page. The best artists use that layout to greatly accentuate the story. Like here. :) And that Bat shadow is an excellent entrance. Great pages!

Yeah, as you and Marcus point out, they got pretty dirty on the pages of Mad back in the day. Let's just say, it was an education at times. Or a cautionary tale! Thank you

Mephisto is the star of every show. He would have it no other way! I love any Mephisto anything, and this is a very cool New Mutants cover. Mephisto just crushing people and collecting souls. Pearson clearly got the hellish memo. Devilish!

Something about werewolf transformation pages that are so metal. That black out panel wheee he talk about going into oblivion and passing out on the Avengers couch? Well, that just adds to that feel. I'm always dug Perlin's darker work on Werewolf by Night and Ghost Rider. Very cool page. (Man, I'm going to OAX next year. See ya there!)

And he got the ball all the way down to the 5 yard line! Looks like that aquatic baddie is going for a refreshing swim. Probably for the best. Heh, great page: I especially like the inked batty flying off. You are the Rek Rap master now. The character market has been cornered! 

She was so cool to meet at the cons. My daughter loved chatting with her, just a nice lady. And what a talent! She was doing great work into her 90s. What a whimsical scene for Arthur. She just Got the characters she loved to draw. Great score. RIP

One of my favorite Swampy covers, or out of any cover, and I so dig your/Mike's take on it. It could be a published cover, imo. Gorgeous inks and washes, as he does. And you know I love these Swamp Dudes with my similar Allison commission. Great choice and stunning work. Swamptastic!

Using the onomatopoeia as a light source is such a brilliant trick. I don't think I've seen that before, but I hope to see it again. It really adds a nice element to such a great inky page. And the Wrightson/Corben homage stylings are so nice. Excellent Hulk page from Klein, to be sure. Artless Smash!

All 6 connect? Wow, that's a lot of work for the cover, but it sure pays off. It all looks really nice. As Rubén said, I dig how he handled the upright bass. And how he did the background elements with blue pencil, to finish it a bit, since I guess some art was put in digitally for the final cover? Cool cover!

Harrowing! I dig that it feels like everyone's almost moving in a different direction, creating great motion, energy for the cover. Sometimes they can feel static, this cover does not have that issue. :) And 90s Cloak and Dagger was gritty, cool stories. Great snag, James. Spidey'll save the day!

Very cool Hampton work! I'm a fan of his style. Love the tight, thin lines paired with the bright vibrant colors. And very nice composition with the Baroness and Vega. Buddy comedy incoming? 

Batman is all like, "I don't dig steampunk...punk." WHAM! Very cool gritty style to this page. Love the Arkham shoulder curls and Kelley Jones styling, too. Great Bat-page!

I'm a fan of Simon's golden age work. Big fan of dogs, too. Great golden age Simon doggo page! That first panel is great, and I love how he uses the dog and his action to create a nice composition. I dig the snappy writing, too. :) Score!

The third and sixth panels are especially cool, imo, with the great angle in the first with that excited alien dog, and that wonderful shared look. It's a gorgeous painted page. Congrats on a historic nab!

This is more than meets the eye! Optimus battle! (Insert mechanized transforming sound here). He's got yer number, Star Scream. Love this, I t brings me right back to my youth and all my Transformers. The dino ones were my favorite. Followed by the wrecking bots. Prime!

A perfect Optimus moment, imo. Captures his spirit, and is a nice whimsical moment, looking to the heavens. Talking about Omicron, I'd guess. This is prime. Congrats!

Hembeck in a Bottle! Oh, man, I didn't even know he would do cover takes. Love the detail, too. This might be my favorite piece from him. Clever title, too. :) This has that Skrull Stank! 

It looks like he's spotted a fool that needs a talking to. As Cable does. I love Charest, too, and this is a killer piece. Just evocative enough of his old work, with some really cool new stylings. That focal point on the face was nicely done. So many cool tricks here. Explosive!

I'm really becoming a fan of his work, and you can see why here. So detailed, yet so hazy, with a wonderful abstract sensibility. The clouds of flesh making an image while also deconstructing an s very clever, imo. BOOGIE WOOGIE WOOGIE!

Magnificent! And in living color! Love this, dude. The color blends are so good, and how it works from back to front, reds to blues, just enhances the composition so much. I know you are over the moon with this one. Great acquisition. Wakandawesome!
