Seriously man..your style is retro and classic... you should avoid any attempt at moderno comic book 'so-called' art and fix yourself on that Americana Style of linework.... really, Scott, you are already prepared to take on an illustrated book... books with a picture every chapter or so... the way Books are supposed to be.... I used to LAFF at Mignola and Paul smiths fan drawings sent into Comics Journal back in 85'-88 and I can safely say that you are a million miles ahead of both right now...

Looks stupendous.. if you painted this , and you inked this... you should try to raise 8,000 dollars and print a book......

Pose him ANY WAY but as standing there holding two batwings at his side... like a crouch or something.... some of your new awsome linework(7/14/06) would play well with the color choices. although I'd be prone to toss in a feint modulation of amber from above..with same highlights toward the back edge of the three dimensional Batman I am certain you will eventually produce... its a cool just rained effect..

excellent composition, nice approach, very good decision making.. you copped out on the face DOod. you must learn to draw your own faces.. Toth woulda done something with that mouth... you have the stuff, that much is certain... you need your own face and you are set.....

Yo DOod. That's pretty damned good stuff man. I know you probably inked directly over a photograph outline but that okay...lots of artist do that.. your inking choice and decision making is spot on. well done....
