Breathtaking image!  The power of the high seas and the even tighter bound illustration for the ship make this feel authentic as if it was done from that time period of discovery.

Very nice romance novel cover of the late 70's to early 80's.  The perms are strong in this one withstanding the heat and humidity of the south.

Very sexy lady!  She has a Loni Anderson look of the 70's as a bombshell blonde.

Nice old school gunslinger!  Like anyone that made it to this age, he must have been great to have survived lots of duels!

I know this will sound odd, but I really liked it when Gonzalez drew architecture. His buildings and castles were amazing. He was pretty good at drawing Vampirella, too :)

Beautiful thinned out inks used like watercolors for the backgrounds while Vampirella and her beauty are pure as snow sticking out front.

The ink brushwork for the eyelashes are particularly exquisite by Gonzales!  It's what made her so sympathetic and soulful!
