These spreads are so much fun. Wonderful action with the planes. Especially like the two diagram insets showing views from all sides of the planes. Feels a bit like what one sees on a video game screen. But long before they existed.

So very much to enjoy on this page. The sense of environment being perhaps at the top of the list. You feel the elements throughout these strong illustrations. A page that displays well on it's own apart from the rest of the story.

I admit to being completely unfamiliar with this story or artist.
However, the composition of this page is so strong I have to learn more. Great pacing to build the suspense. The decision to tilt the second to last panel is superb! It just feels so jarring where it needed to be. Exceptional artwork.
