I've been a fan of Jesse for a long time as well, also starting with a scene from a movie. He consistently delivers. His Patreon is also a great insight into his evolving work. 

Wagner and the Golden Age DC characters are a perfect match. Great piece.

I think so, too - Tim Sale did a sketch for me once in which he drew in the character's entire body, but then covered it with an ink wash. He said he needed to see the whole body to get the feel for the final sketch!

Thanks! It took quick fingers when he had the art drop for each. I just met Nick at Fan Expo yesterday! Of course I had to pick up the Barda poster he has. He said he hopes to do some more New Gods. 

Fabio told me he was using a bat-symbol motif with the umbrella light as well! 

I was pretty lucky to get on his commission list!
