The movies obviously give people a VERY different version of the character. Which is fine. Comics Yondu was initially the savage trope done as an alien. But under Valentino he became a real character. And a necessary one for the team. He sure suffered in that series!
Thanks, Steve. I used to have a second page from the series with Bat Mite and Mxyzptlk but I traded that away a few years ago. I'm a big Byrne fan so this was just too cool a page to pass up. Love to have a bunch of his other work but my bank account won't let me.
