Fantastic and historical page, congrats! Do you have handy the page to check the date of the stamp at the back. This might help to know when Wood left Marvel. Thanks!
It's not my guess, Claremont used this reference to describe the sequence in the first draft of the Dark Phoenix Saga plots.
Almost all the pages from that work are winners, congrats! A pity that the image is too small to appreciate the detail.

I totally agree, both were at their peak, I absolutely love this limited series, cograts about owning it! I could enjoy the art of #1 for some years, and their art is mindblowing!
The beginning of the Dirty Harry sequence, legendary, congrats!
Yes, all from #7. I posted them in the Marvel Method 2.0 FB group and tagged you.
Fantastic sample of the run with beatiful embellishment by Wook, congrats! So far 10 pages have surfaced of this issue.
Your collection of con drawings from the 80s is insane! Thanks for sharing!
The Spanish Dream Team at their peak, they were incredible at this point, what a great page, congrats!
Nice! Used in Comics Interview #44, the party with Mark Hammill.
Great, thanks for sharing! Kirby is posing like he's drawing the splash from Eternals #2, but it's already inked by Verpoorten.
Great page, congrats! Pay attention to huge margin notes written by Roth, he not only drew it but he wrote the plotted it, as usual in the Marvel Method at the SIlver Age. Back then, if you couldn't plot, you weren't hired.
Awesome, congrats! A fantastic sample of the saga! A pity that Byrne's notes in the left margin are covered.
Nice cover of the peak of the series, near the climax of the Skrulls-Dire Wraiths. Congrats!
$177 for a production copy of a published cover by Byrne doesn't sound like a deal so bad. If you want, I might purchase it at that price.
This is the page used as the pitch of the series! It was published at small size in The Comic Reader #169. Congrats!
Wonderful and historical piece!
It was also the cover of the first incomplete compilation of daily strips by Greg Theakston.
The definitive FF piece by Byrne in his prime. Congrats and thanks for sharing!
I'm happy that it got a great home! It was sad to have to part with it, but other urgent matters come first than a hobby. At least I hope it don't reach the market ever, it'd be awfull to see how much it might fetch nowadays, much more of what you paid for it. Best wishes, Henry!
Congrats on one of the best samples of an iconic work. Please, contact with Anderson because he'd be interested on a hires scan of the page for a potential Artist's edition.
Taking a closer look, I even dare to say that it's early Byrne in X-Men. At the end of his run he drew her skinner, this drawing has too many curves, like Byrne's style in 1977-1978.
My bet is that it's pre-1980. Byrne refused to draw Phoenix once he left the series, the only drawing I know after that date is one Byrne did to Austin where he added a note commenting the fact that he only drew it because it was him. Congrats on owning it!
Congrats, Jeff! I'm happy that it finally got a nice home.
So much memories with this run, that's an amazing sample of the arc, congrats!!
Congrats, it's a prime sample of the run! Did you try to look what's covered under th white paint of the last panels? The last panel looks like a stat shrinked to make the feeling of distance...
The page with the origin of the characters inside of the Spider-Man/Superman special also looks like drawn by Miller with inks by Sinnott.
From my favorite MK issue by Sienkiewicz! Congrats, it's awesome! I only wish you could post a high quality scan. Sienkiewicz said that he felt he reached his peak with this issue, and from here it was downhill in the series, hence that he had to change of project and seek for new goals.
No, if he inked it was on his decision or someone else hired him.
This image is fresh in my mind since I first saw it in the book "The Studio". It must be shocking to own the original painting, congrats.
I just learnt in Byrnerobotics that it looks like Byrne sent this drawing of Dark Phoenix to Mark as seen at the top and Joe Rubinstein did the Phoenix version.
This is a very interesting image that I never saw before! Byrne did a comission not long ago based on this image, where he added the Phoenix effect: http://tinyurl.com/noqxp6s
This image was finally published in OHOTMU #14, the "Book of the Dead and Inactive II". Congrats for owning the original art and for sharing it here.
Was it yours? What a surprise! Then I'm glad that I sold it to you, you were the right owner, congrats!
Congrats, Kirk! It's always a thrill to purchase art with so much emotional background attached to it.
A key page in Marvel history, which brings lots of memories. Imho, by one of the best artistic teams ever. Hard to beat that., congrats, you're a lucky man.
Congrats Albert for this beauty!! Someone posted in the Kirby group at Facebook an early image of the cover that could be the original drawing by Kirby and Royer: http://twomorrows.com/comicbookartist/media/spmrmiracle5.gif
¡Felicidades, Pablo, es una preciosidad! Con esta joya, ya te puedes jubilar del hobby...
It's the prelim of "Galactus: The Devourer #4" page 20. Sienkiewicz finished the page. This is the printed page: http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/7958/galactusthedevourer421.jpg
