Only met him twice. In 91 when I got this no one really new who he was. I spent a few hours talking to him over 2 days. I got a lot of sketches too which was a bonus. Such a nice chap. Hopefully I will get to meet him again.
Thanks, I have to pinch myself sometimes. I nearly didn't get it as being only 17 at the time I didn't have a lot of funds. Luckily my cousin loaned me what I needed. Sounds crazy but back then it seemed a lot but now the £80 I paid seems totally worth it. I have never tired of looking at it, and don't think I ever will.
Interstingly I have the splash for Issue 4 and its the same on that. Also on Issue 4 While Portacio is spelt wrong its written "Portocio"
