Beautiful illustration, one of the finest pen & ink artists ever, can't blame Berni Wrightson for being influenced by Booth especially for his Frankenstein illustrations. Congrats!
Always a pleasure to see when a Viking Prince page by Joe Kubert pops up(or anything Joe Kubert), this one is especially well crafted. Congrats!
The published page is great, but this version is special also due to Gene's untouched pencils, great art & observation into his process, I would love to have Colan penciled art from this period. Congrats!

Amazing page! Joe Kubert just got better as the series went on, the early Viking Prince art was excellent, but by the time of issue #15, well you can see how awesome comic art could be. Congrats!
Correct, truly one of Wrightson's finest covers, a deceptively simple design, what he is able to do with just a pen, brush & ink is masterful. I was both scared & excited when I first saw this cover as a kid. Congrats!
All your Enemy Ace pages are great, this is my favorite, superior draftsmanship & even better sequential artistry. My goal is to add a Kubert Enemy Ace page to my collection. Congrats!
AMAZING! I DON'T THINK I'VE EVER SEEN DRUILLET DRAW A WEAK PAGE OR PANEL NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT. THE KIRBY INFLUENCE IS APPARENT. CHRIS'S DAD, JOSEPH PARENTE WAS A PIONEER IN ORIGINAL COMIC ART & KNEW & BOUGHT DIRECTLY FROM DRUILLET, AS WELL AS MANY OF THE GREAT ARTISTS OF THE SILVER & BRONZE AGE . CONGRATS!
WOW, LOVE THE CHAOS SWIRLING AROUND THE SOLE CALM HORRIFIC MAIN FIGURE, CRAIG CAME UP WITH GREAT CONCEPTS ALONG WITH MASTER DRAFTSMANSHIP. CONGRATS!
I was also a huge WBN fan as kid, Ploog's trifecta of the Werewolf, Man-thing & Frakenstein's monster can't be beat. Nostalgia aside this is a beautifully crafted page, if I had to choose a page from Ploog's WBN run, this would be it. Also a tip of the hat to Frank Chiaramonte's inking,a great complement to Ploog's pencils. Congrats!
Yes, it's a little hard to see but the afro/american reporter was added later, a head was whited out & redrawn maybe a Marvel bullpen artist; also to the right in the margins is a note to color him accordingly.
Seeing this cover made me a life long Neal Adams fan back in 1980 at a comic con in NY, it was shocking how powerful it was compared to the other covers surrounding it, I had to buy it no matter what the inside was like, the hallmark of what a great cover is suppose to do.
