Gorgeous. But what's that peering behind it in the top right corner?
Agreed. Sequentials are my passion. I love that Jeff has found a way to incorporate his aptitude for large scale images into his sequential work.
Thanks, Chris. Just another great piece by Jeff, who is quite a gamer himself!
Lovely acquisitions from my favourite period of Immonen art, Matthew. Thanks so much for sharing!
Cheers, Matthew! Can't wait! Looking to get myself one or two this year as well!
It's a pretty nice page. But I recognise Immonen, and since you provided the info on the issue it's from (which is also on the actual art), I decided to look it up to confirm!
Looks great. But I would enjoy it more if the scan quality was better.
I LOVE that cover! And I'm loving this piece! I'm always thinking Eduardo should do some Superman! It's not that they're a one-trick pony, but Azzarello keeps bringing him in on Batman! We know he can do Batman! He should show us what he can do with all those gorgeous shadows in Superman's world! (Not that there's much of a Superman worth going to in comics nowadays...)
The features on Ron Garney's look bomb! They all look great, though! Nice one!
Thanks, Patrick! You have great taste! The mood of the piece is what hit me too! Totally unexpected! Beautiful!
Thanks, Gal. I love Dusty's art. Yeah, I know about his change of career. He's also been involved with Ben 10, and King of the Hill as background artist too, apparently. Well, there's always his Deviantart page to visit- http://dusty-abell.deviantart.com/ - even though he hasn't posted in a while.
Which is all the time!!! Gary, how about a scan that's a little bigger?
I see 'Adventures of Superman 1989 Annual' written on the top right hand corner area...
This seems to have been inspired by a previous pinup he did in DC's 'Heroes Against Hunger' book from way back in the day that I really dug, just the poses slightly altered. Anyone have that one? Lovely stuff.
Is this by Dusty Abell by any chance? http://dusty-abell.deviantart.com/
