It is currently on display at the Cartoon Art Museum in their Filipino comic artist exhibition. Lots of great stuff there to see.
Alex is amazing and your piece is lovely. Congratulations!
That's lovely. Congratulations!
Dave only did the one page for the interiors. He did three covers but this is the only page he worked on from the interiors.
I had forgotten this was done as a print. Great rendition of Vampi.
They belong to me. Currently in London at the DC Comic Art exhibition.
All but (possibly) number 4 are available. Just email me off line. Best, Steve.
That is absolutely lovely. I am a huge fan of Steve's and this is one of the nicest pieces I have seen by him. Congratulations!
Writing and drawing brings out your best, unlike milk products. Now that you have finished the last few pages, make the damn appointment.
It originally came out in the 1970's (I believe) as one of the DC Treasury Editions. Us old farts (that would be me and Joe) remember it fondly. It was supposed to be a continuing series but this was the only edition that ever saw print. A few months ago it was re-issued in hardcover. Either version is well worth tracking down if you like Redondo or Kubert art. Clearly I am partial to both.
I don't normally leave comments to your new posts since I expect to be floored. This one is, however, mind boggling even by the lofty standards of your gallery.

Never seen the story before but the art is beautiful. Really beautiful.
Brilliant. With gags like this, you might have a calling in comedy somehow. ;). Timing perfect for posting A's was the image. Just made me smile! Perfection.
Be careful on the title. It got Frank Cho in all kinds of trouble a couple years ago. But trouble is what Frank does best....
I'm not into Ditko or Spider-Man and even I had to say "Oh my god"! Really, really nice.
Rags (with Bair inks) did draw Zatanna quite a bit in Identity Crisis. Drew her spectacularly well actually.
Son of a gun! Looks like it's about time for another visit to Chez Mandel! Wow, just wow on the entire update.
Frank should be at Booth 4907, sitting next to Doug Sneyd (Playboy artist extraordinaire!). Brandon Peterson will likely be sitting on Frank's lap. Hopefully, behaving themselves. Yeah, sure they will.
Priceless? I would agree. Funny how a simple panel page can blow the doors off of many (supposedly) superior covers and splashes. Congrats. This page is really cool.
For shame! The artist is Liam Sharp and it was a cover to one of the Harris Vampirella publications. Framing is wonderful -- just like on each of the dozens of pieces you have done for me already!
Stunning! Look particularly good on my wall. :)
Nice! If you ever want to see the finished version, you know where it is. :)
The team that never left is back! Exceptional cover.
Definitely has a couple of "Bair" attributes easily viewable in the image. You and Ray make a nice pair, although not as nice as Powergirl's.
Actually, the Shadow is nicer than the Vampi. The Vampi is stunning but this Shadow is the pinnacle of the work Sanjulian has done to date. Congrats Ted!
I can hook you up for a commission. If interested, drop me a line at smorger@comcast.net.
Responding to the earlier comment, Lady Rawhide was later in his career than most work that people associate with him. Most Warren work was done with the benefit of wash and for B&W reproduction, not strictly pen & ink for color reproduction like Lady Rawhide. Different media and somewhat different styles. Both beautiful though IMHO.
Not wine, but soda. Hence the ice cubes. Don't think Paul drank wine.
Frank needed to do more paintings. This and his Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction paintings were beautiful.
