Sure, I'll add it (although the artist is already credited with the final illustration elsewhere in my gallery). Thx for the heads up.
Thx Marcus. Babes, robot babes, anything babes... always in style ;)
thanks Bill, I appreciate it.
A little story for you then that maybe you haven't heard before? PInbot was illustrated by Python Anghelo, and Bride by John Youssi. You can physically see their roles here in a way; python had done prelim work on the title already and John was relatively new to Williams at the time, and python had a very specific look in mind for the face. You can see the face here is a paste up. So its John's drawing with what I believe is Python's paste up. By the time we get to the third title in the series - its purely John's vision of what the Bride would look like, and its based on Elvgren's aesthetic - John's boss had an Elvgren hanging in his office and John admired the aesthetic.
So in the Pinbot - Bride of Pinbot - Jackbot trilogy we go from pure Python to pure Youssi, with Bride here in the middle being mostly John but python's face.
Maybe that's interesting maybe it isn't, lol, but you can track the progress of the aesthetic direction in this series physically through the paste up (and contextualing story from John).
