Septimus A Crisp is one of those minor Sala characters who deserves their own book. Not just a talking bag - but one with old-world charm.
It does! The scan doesn't quite capture how the red of the curtain beyond the doorway draws in your eye and sets up the figure being drawn in too. beautifully done.
