A Distant Soil 8 (WaRP) page16 by Colleen Doran Owner: Miki Annamanthadoo Comment posted on 9/7/2025 I really like her art from this period, especially how she shaded the hair in pencil and left it uninked, while inking other parts of the page. |

Conan: Battle of the Black Stone #1 Cover by Gerardo Zaffino (2024) Owner: Rick W Comment posted on 9/5/2025 Absolutely phenomenal. The sense of depth is out of this world! So much separation between the foreground and background. The son has definitely surpassed the father. Outstanding work of art! |

Legion of Super-Heroes: Great Darkness Saga Deluxe Edition cover by Giffen and Milgrom Owner: Miki Annamanthadoo Comment posted on 9/5/2025 I'm a big fan of flashback scenes, retold origins & important moments in characters' histories, as they not only give you that wave of nostalgia that makes us harken back to those original moments, but they are also a much more affordable way of having art from those special stories and moments. I know your love for the Legion knows no bounds and I know that The Great Darkness Saga is considered to be the high water mark in Legion lore, so this is the exact type of piece I've to see and I'm thrilled to see that you managed to land it and place it into your collection. It's great looking and, well, Supergirl! |

Combat 12, page 15 by Sam Glanzman Owner: Peter Roe Comment posted on 9/5/2025 The 3rd panel is beautiful. So is the 4th one, but it immediately gave me flashbacks to the opening scene in Saving Private Ryan, which makes me whince! |

Dalgoda #3, pgs. 12-14 (1984) Owner: Mark V Comment posted on 9/5/2025 Nice! These may be the very first Dalgoda original art pages I've ever seen. I never read the title, but remember thinking how Moebius inspired Fujitake was and it was fun to look at back then, just as it is now! |

NAMOR THE SUB-MARINER ISSUE 23 PAGE 18 IRON FIST IS BACK!! But hey, not everyone is averse to tempting fate! Congrats on the win, it's a great page and very memorable, especially for me as an Iron Fist fan! |

GREEN ARROW #50 Owner: <> Shemp Comment posted on 9/4/2025 Fantastic! A STUNNING Green Arrow illustration by the legendary Mike Grell. Like most illustrators who painted covers, they typically drew up at least one prelim and then tightened it up to work out the lighting and other aspects. Once they were happy with the overall layout, they typically transferred the prelim onto the final illustration board, either with a lightbox or by freehanding it, then went in with the paints. It sucks that it's not on bristol or any more commonly used paper, but it's still too cool to not get. Congrats, man! |

Cap Stubbs and Tippie Daily - 01/11/1941 Owner: Jeffrey Wedding Comment posted on 9/4/2025 I love the classic "little kid who gets mad at his parents for something ridiculous and decides they're going to take their dog and run away from home" trope, especially when they constantly find reasons to delay running away! |

Cap Stubbs and Tippie Daily - 01/10/1941 Owner: Jeffrey Wedding Comment posted on 9/4/2025 Awesome work, Jeff! That's something I also have always loved doing whenever I bought a strip that had the copyright sticker missing and I didn't know the year. The detective work adds a sense of fun to collecting older strip art. Though I have to also admit, it can also be a LOT more time consuming that this one was for you, especially if you can't help falling down the rabbit hole! |

Silver Sable 2014 Commission by Steven Butler Owner: shaun clancy Comment posted on 9/3/2025 You know, I enjoyed Silver Sable's guest appearances in Amazing Spiderman, but I never would have imagined that there would ever be anyone so rabid of a fan that they'd pay 5-figure prices for the covers to her solo series! |

GI Joe #2 Pg 3 - Duke being 80’s Action Hero Duke Owner: Carl’s Collection Comment posted on 9/3/2025 Super simple, clean, classic storytelling! You know, I was never a hard core GI Joe fan, but I did read it for a while but don't remember Duke being anything but a likeable leader. I guess I'll find out the truth about Duke whenever I eventually get around to my 50 issue TPB! |

Sal Buscema--The Defenders #2 Cover (1972) Owner: Bill J Comment posted on 9/3/2025 Well, if you can't get the Defenders #1 cover, I guess this is the next best thing! So great to clearly see all four of the original members on the cover, because as you noted, Bill, there aren't many Defenders covers that can boast that. The Buscema/Giacoia art is quite strong and exciting. I appreciate being able to see all the editorial changes as well, but given how many they made and the type of changes they were, I'm surprised they didn't seem to notice that The Hulk could also use an enlarging. Anyway, a great cover from everyone's favourite non-team! |

Challengers of The Unknown 62 page 1 by Brown Owner: Miki Annamanthadoo Comment posted on 9/3/2025 I've never read Challengers of the Unknown, but everything I've ever read seems to indicate that the idea for the Fantastic Four was absolutely taken from Challengers. |

Wonder Woman Black and Gold, Page 7 Owner: Comicart Boston Comment posted on 9/3/2025 I love how the enveloped in ink this page is. It helps visualize just how scary it must be for a young child to be lost in the woods all on their own. I love how she's shown coming out of the darkness and into the light of her mother's love. The meaning I infer from this page probably makes it my favourite one of the story! |

Wonder Woman Black and Gold, Page 1 Owner: Comicart Boston Comment posted on 9/3/2025 What a nice coincidence. Tillie Walden came up in conversation on this past Sunday's Hang Out episode! A very nice looking story indeed, CAB. As someone who has long espoused how much more enjoyable the hobby can become when collectors make the decision to stretch their horizons, you are always the first person I think of when the topic comes up. You are in my mind, the quintessential example of it. Kudos! |
