LOVED the sisters' stories in this. How Diana gets owned on the next page, Ton's disappointment, the overall idea that just because the media doesn't know about you that you might be the best at something, it's all so thought-provoking and entertaining.

I remember layton's run on Iron Man, which was my favorite, and when he introdiced Bethany Cabe, I always confused her with Natasha! Nice to see his version of her for real.
One of my first Marvel comics was an Avengers during the Kree/Skrull war! Neal Adams' Captain Marvel was and still is the best! (His Scarlet Witch at that time was awe-inspiring, and he drew Carol Danvers...but it wasn't really her!)

McFarlane really did some amazing design on the Infinity Inc run. The way he balances out the page with static shots framing the action is awesome. And his use of the various members' capes to make things more interesting would carry on in his Spawn and Spiderman. (Poor Lyta, though. Being related to Wonder Woman is a curse.)
Saw part of this in the previews, and it's awesome as a full piece! My fave lineup, and the artist captured Quicksilver in a way that most miss: he was young back then and the white hair was a mutant thing. Many artists drew him as old, and it didn't fit his character.

Beautiful! They defined their respective teams for years by being the only girl in an lla-guy team. (One could almost imagine Lilith wearing the Jean Grey costume in an alternative Earth, and the two working together.) Still, always preferred Donna's earlier costume with the higher neckline and necklace.
Very cool, integration of the two characters! Steve Rogers should definitely have found HIS way to Paradise Island, instead of Steve Trevor!
Looking throuigh neal's art is like watching a movie. There's never a moment where something isn't going on. I feel so lucky to have grown up with his covers on the local spinner rack!
Astaire, huh? No wonder Pietro always looked so much older than Wanda! I thought the artists just latched onto white hair = old. These are great and bring back great memories of that time!
Very nice! One of the first comics I bought with my own money! Pietro's hard to render, because the white hair is usually a way to make a character look older, but he is obviously the same age as his sister.

LOVE Neal Adams! His women from this period were eye-opening and awesome! (Men as well, but his women were something else altogether. He's still great, but something's gone from his depiction of women. Sadly.
