Loved Immonen's take on Gladiator!  It's instances like this where I could do without that red bar on the bottom of all the covers during the Marvel NOW! era; all that extended blocked art is such a crime.

Clinton, take a look to the additionals images. Check out the "prelim and pencils" of this page and you´ll know the answer... ;-)

Ah, I can swear that wasn't there yesterday! :-D  Thanks for adding those!  I absolutely admire & respect the crudeness yet seamlessness in print of doctoring pages by hand; especially in the name of a better punchline!

You. Lucky. Dog. You.  I'll restate it as well-- “JUBILEE IN EVERY PANEL!”  And what sequential energy in each panel at that!  Likewise, one of my fave pages/issues/gahhhEVERYTHING ever!  Prime Lee/Williams.  Congrats and thanks so much for sharing!!

Can't get enough of this piece.  Out of all the Marvel Comics #1000 covers, this one reeeeeeeally needs to be made into a poster.

Wow, how long ago was this made?  I don't seem to see new Pearson pieces very often but when I do, BAM!!  Knocks it outta the park!  Love the skull detail on her loincloth.

This sequence doubled as a great gag as well as an educational reverse-process of how comics were made.  This page alone floored me with how coloring was done!

It was supposed to be Anarchist, but I'm not going to complain. Zeitgeist looks so cool! Besides, I'm guessing there aren't many Zeitgeist commissions out there, and I already have an Anarchist sketch in my collection. It all worked out. :)

Haha, I thought it might've been a little nod to the upcoming The X-Cellent series.  Still supercool, and makes for a great ‘What If…’ image!

I remember first reading this in Heavy Metal as well, and when they collected it in an oversized hardcover (with better word balloon placement, giggity) it was an instant buy for me.  Woulda double-dipped for IDW's colored version, but the dumbfounding censoring was an easy pass for me.  Congrats on this grail!

I remember first seeing this cover and feeling just how iconic it was as well.  Oddly enough, I stiil need this ish from my Silvestri run.  Wonderful commission; it's so great when you can catch a vet like Lee off guard with an idea like that.  Thanks for sharing this instant classic of a classic & your fantastic backstory.

The inking challenge was awesome for this; a lesson to show just how much an inker influences pencils.  All of them were really great, then it was supercool to see AH! work his own magic on it.  Thanks for sharing!

This angers me. I read this issue again recently so I knew for sure they didn't use that Jubilee barcode, but the standard Spidey one. I don't know why they opted to do that; I'd figure they would favor any extra bit of customized art, especially from Jim Lee, but being a big Jubilee fan I'm a little let down because if they used this instead, for me it would've been absolutely perfect. Aside from that, that's exactly what this cover is, and I thank you for sharing it.
