See what happens when you ask Spidey to Bisley - you would expect eight legs, fur, blood everywhere, and instead he surprises you delivering a perfect crossover between Ditko e Romita, with just the scary detail of the big hands. What a beautiful, unusual Bisley piece, congrats!

Incredible use of camera, light and shadow. Brilliant piece. The art of Portacio, differently from what happened to many of his Image pals, has evolved during the years - I am convinced that we have yet to see the best from him.

These Sale commissions have an overall average quality I have rarely seen from any other artist. No matter how quick his take on a character, he has always something original to say/draw. And the execution is really superb. BTW, this Iron Man you have here is probably the best I have seen, congrats!

Fantastic. A piece of history. How much power, even in a quite moment. Frazetta work seems alive - as my mother use to state when she's exposed to a piece of art she appreciates.

What's better here? The portrait? The dedication? Who knows. But what I know that this kind of works makes me think that Mr. Sim is by far the most dedicated, capable, interesting sketch-artist ever. I would buy immediately a luxury collection of his convention works - seriously.

I see Gerhard as probably one of the most underrated artists in all comicdom. Dave Sim is everything you say but I couldnt imagine the books without Gerhard.

Thanks for your kind words about the page, and for reminding me to spend some more for Gerhard's work. You are very right in your statement: his contribution to Cerebus has been extremely important. I read once in an interview (I cannot remember exactly the magazine or the period, but I am quite sure abou this) that he was specifically mentioning the sequence of "Cerebus and Jaka in a room" like one of the very first where he felt he was entirely clicking. He is underrated - I agree: but I believe because it's simply difficult for the comicdom to properly classify him and his incredible work.

Uncanny 268 is one of the milestones of 90's comicdom, and this page you have here is one of the milestones of Uncanny 268. Sacrilege maybe, but in my opinion Jim Lee and Scott Williams rarely have gone higher than here. Not to mention the historical relevance of the first handshake between the two guys featured. Whatever you gave away for this, you made a deal.
