These comic books are really hard to find... I'm searching this one (you probably know why !) but can't find it ! Is "El Diablo" really appears in this issue ?
Of course, my friend, I discovered it but I won't reveal where it is hidden; just let the viewers find it by themselves ! But as for me, I think that the signature is more visible on the B&W picture than the colored one...

WOW! It's the first time that I see an original artwork from this series, "Le Fantôme du Bengale". Sadly, the new generations can find our hero a little bit "old-fashioned" for them... but let's hope that if there's less visitors, it's just because there are quieter periods than others. As I would like to see The Phantom as popular today as he was in the past !

These classic stories were published in France under the titles "L'île des femmes corsaires / Les femmes corsaires" and were in " Spécial le Fantôme #93 - #94". But at this moment, "Les Éditions des Remparts", from #82 until the last number of that series (#99), had changed the size of the books (all with ugly similar covers-please, see my "French Collection #2) and so, they were never published with these magnificent covers from Mr. Caria. It's a pity because there's a lot of italian covers that were never issued in France...
