Definitely one of my favorite Hughes covers, do bad all this beautiful detailed ink work did not show up on the printed cover, sweet piece!

I used to think Gene Colan's stuff looked wierd as a kid, now i am quickly becoming his greatest fan, and this image has to be my favorite piece of Star Wars art i have ever seen, an amazing piece.

I happened across this piece looking at some of Ryan's Convention sketches and almost fell out of my chair, i can't even find words to describe it, so i won't bother, ...an amazing image to own.
