Amazing! Where did you find this gem? Direct from the artist, or a reseller? Just wondering..,
When I ordered this from the Beguiling (ages ago), they initially sent me the book... and I was like "waitaminute!"
I had to modify a bit of the art though... I'll try and show the update too...
AND... he used to be ACTUALLY FRAMED! ;)
You should look Kelly up then... he's currently re-working an old tale with some vintage stylings!
I actually bought a roll of the stuff off ebay to use at some point... I want to do an art show where the art uses it, like a mechanical. Hmmm... I should get off my butt and do that. Oh, I did use it on my Nick Fury Ikon that Steranko did. I don't think I've uploaded that... I should!
I've searched a few times for a printed copy of this but have still come up empty.
I saw an interview with Scott on CBR or some comic site, and he had created this and the Beto piece. I reached out and bought them from him.
Thanks Ben. There is a LOT more to come. As you know, it's a lot of work, and I'm only starting to tackle it.
I think he was on my radar at the time because of the old Drawing Board! (Those were the days!)
