Looks good to me, got all the power and lines that not many comic book artists have these days.
Mike Ploog is a genius artist and this page is fab. He was snatched up by film companies in the 1970's and never looked back. Fiished with 3 years at Dreamworks designing Shrek. Probably the busiest artist around even today and is currently on a 2 year childrens book project with large double page watercolour spreads throughout the book....can't wait.
Next up is Candace, "Queen of Ethipia" who Alexander The Great was afraid of and turned his forces away from this formidable Empress of Ethipia.
Next character Simon Bisley will be doing is Pocahontas in July. Watch this space!!!

Next up in April we have, Æthelflæd or Ethelfleda who died in 918AD, daughter of King Alfred the Great of Wessex who played a large part in fending off the Viking invasions and was know as the "Lady of Mercia."

I am sorry I really don't know it was such a long time ago. Hope you find it...happy hunting.
The piece is very different and is indeed a lot darker but the level of detail and time spent on refining this piece is something to behold. Scans never do paintings any justice and you also get reflection off the surface of the varnish. I may try a photograph at some point. I will also try and find a scan of the original.
