Superboy 178 pg 14 Brown/Anderson Owner: Vance Naegle Comment posted on 12/31/2009 Hi. While this is indeed a lovely page of comic art, it is neither drawn nor inked by Wally Wood even if his name might be on the back of the page for some reason. Wood had not worked on SUPERBOY in over a year at this point and was, in fact, at Marvel for a stint during this period. The inking here is clearly that of the great Murphy Anderson. Note the hair and muscle detail on Superboy's costume for Anderson's trademarks. Note, also the lack of Wood trademarks. Had Woody inked it, there would no doubt be more solid blacks and quite frankly it would look, as most art inked by Wood did, like a Wally Wood page instead of the very good Bob Brown page it is.
