This page is very cool. I remember it like it was yesterday. It might only have a niche following but among its fans, this was one of the greatest story and art that Chris Warner produced. I also treasure the few original art of this I have.

Funny I agree 100% with you. This is my all-time favorite version of Batman. His almost whimsical version of Batman just appeals so much to me. I was a fan of Starlin before this comic came out but this was my introduction to his version of Batman. I later found out he also drew Batman a few times before this but this is my favorite Batman issue of all time!
His Batman is my ultimate favorite followed by Hulk then Captain Marvel. I'm fortunate I also own a page from this issue.

I love this issue and this storyline. Modok dies gruesomely in this issue after being bitten by one of the Serpent Society members if I recall correctly.

These Hostess Cupcake Ad pages are like comic art gold. And they were ubiquitous across all the titles at the time. For me, this is the best BWS cover ever! He was at his artistic peak then and while there are quite a few BWS Weapon X pieces, finding one with his mask on makes this my all time favorite.
