It's always a treat to see gems like this get inked. They are so impressive in pencil, but I always feel like they need some beautiful inks laid down to make them complete. Glad you were able to get Joe to do it and thanks for sharing! Only thing left to do now is commission someone to color it from these inks so we can enjoy how much better it would have looked had they found the time to do it for production.
I really enjoyed this one back in the day as well. I thought the character design was pretty good and this piece does a good job of showcasing it. Great catch on this one! I was watching it too. If you ever feel like parting with it down the road keep me in mind.
WOW! These two do such good work on the fly. To me their commission work is like a band concert when the band actually sounds BETTER live. I love this one. That Superman is so good. I need one of these. Hopefully they'll make it to Florida soon. Otherwise you're going to have to sell this one to me. :) Congrats!
Yeah, I think this is probably the best Colossus piece of art ever created. It was hard to part with, but I'm glad he's found a good new home. Sometimes I feel selfish holding on to art for a long time. This stuff needs to be shared and seen in person. Those who haven't seen Tim's inks in person can't appreciate how special his work is. Anything can be made to look good digitally, but his inks are better on paper if you ask me. Enjoy!
I miss it already.:) Yeah, this is a great one. I love what he did with the perspective. The characters are so uniquely rendered and that background really pushes the piece over the top. I even love how the characters are inked but the background is left pencils only. Enjoy!
WOW! I haven't commented on CAF in quite a while, but I had to on this one. I love Herrera's style and I've never seen him do The Darkness before. This looks AMAZING! I see the darkness in his eyes. Thanks for sharing!

It just keeps getting better. Love it! I think we had a VERY similar childhood Soundwave experience. I didn't have brothers, but Soundwave was my first big TF. All my friends were getting Optimus and Megatron. I always thought I got the better deal with Soundwave. I liked them all, but he was always the favorite and I played with him to death. Congrats!

Ahh... I remember this one. I was considering purchasing it back when it was for sale. I passed due to the poor scan available and was unsure of the quality. Now, after seeing this higher quality image, I am kicking myself for not jumping on it. A stunning piece. Congrats!!!
LOVE IT!!! So this is where it went. I was the next highest bidder on this beauty. I would have gone higher, but I have two other pieces on the way and my funds are limited. So you lucked out. WOW!!! This is definitely one of the best covers from the series. Most of the covers look great printed, but the OA wasn't very tight. I think this one looks even better on paper, in black and white. CONGRATS!!!

A treasure for sure. Finch and BATT did great work on Cyberforce. You can still see how talented they were even at this early point in their developing careers. This was my favorite time period for comics and comic art. Congrats to you on a great find!
