Love all the detail! Plus Nova in his modern outfit with the old school rocket trail is just great stuff!
I think the published cover has the techno virus effect, but you get the undiluted iconic version with the original! Fantastic!
A truly cinematic scene! Just a great use of negative space and the figure is so well rendered that it makes me double check to be sure it's not a photo.
I love that Volstagg appears to be leaping into battle with a flagon of mead and and Asgardian turkey leg! Other than that this piece is just amazingly well rendered with a great composition, but sometimes that's just all you can get. :)
Very cool! I had a chance to watch while he was working on this at the show. I found it fascinating that he painted it first and then touched up the color with markers after, followed by some inking. I'm still a bit jealous, especially since I didn't get one! Congrats!
For a grey scale piece it sure seems colorful at a glance! Great composition too!
I like so much about this one! The cityscape, the shadows, the gargoyle and it's even got a great big Batman in the center of it!
What a great cover! It sums up so much of the origin of the character all in one image!
Everything about this one is just amazing! The way Batman is visibly struggling while the Joker is clearly laughing maniacally is awe inspiring!
Would love to see Perez work on a Harley title! I can't wait to read all about the Laughing Gargoyle!
Clearly Batman is calculating if his utility belt contains enough calamine lotion for any skin he might choose to expose. ;)
Love how the composition is so perfectly symmetrical with Batman as the only element off kilter.
That whole Ordway series was great stuff! I need to find time to read it again.
No worries. It was still a good deal as far as I'm concerned.

If he had had parents he would know better than to be out in that kind of weather. Seriously, this is amazing!
I don't believe he did this one at a con, but I did buy it from him at one. Thanks!
