Jim, your Deadshot rendering is one of my favorite convention sketches that I own. I'm glad you were able to find the piece posted on this site. You drew this commission for me last year at WW Chicago. I'll definitely stop by at your booth at WW Chicago in a couple of weeks to say hi. And to the all the fans out there, you can't go wrong with a convention sketch from Jim because he does great artwork.
Robert, too funny! I also got a Big Barda piece commissioned from Michael Golden to go with the Mr. Miracle he did for me. Mine are head shots while yours are full body. Either way its interesting to see the variations on a theme! Please take a look at my gallery to compare these two characters as rendered by Michael Golden!
Nice Piece! I too commissioned Michael for the Mr. Miracle sketch shown in my gallery. It too was well worth the wait and exceeded my expectations.
Not only that, John. I e-mailed Greg my description and a small concept sketch and he e-mailed me a small electronic thumbnail of this finished drawing the NEXT day. Super fast! And awesomely eye catching! The only wait I had was waiting for the Wizard World Convention so I could pick it up from him! You cannot go wrong with a commission from Greg!
John, my apologies. No indictment on you intended. That was my understanding...or misunderstanding as it were.
Chad Spilker's work is excellent. He is quite adept at the female pin -up. And a very approachable nice guy too at the cons I've been at.
Excellent Piece! You are quite lucky to nab a sketch from the one and only Adam Hughes. What a great piece to have in your collection.
Thanks. I commissioned the Barda Piece after the Mister Miracle commission as its companion piece. They face each other when put side to side. I think Michael Golden really captured the spirit of these characters.
