Frank Giacoia is credited as the inker for this beauty, with lettering by Sam Rosen. Probably the most perfect Avengers cover ever. Certainly one of the most imitated. Congrats!
No apology needed. I was just clarifying. Again, nice piece!
No worries.
And just so you know, I'm also not the rather awesome Inker, John Dell. I am a different John Dell. I also like to Ink and Color, but I am not published or anything.
look on Facebook, there are a lot of guys named John Dell.
but in this fandom, the mixup happens more than you'd think.
The Inker is Mark Morales. Just an FYI. Nice piece!!
Andy Kubert Penciled this cover, and Jesse Delperdang did the Inks. Andy's brother, Adam Kubert did the interior pencils for this issue.
This was Andy's big "welcome to DC Comics variant", kicking off his run on Batman with Grant Morrison. Adam did the variant cover for Andy's first issue of Batman, and Andy did the variant for Adam's first issue of Action Comics. This is a really great piece of artwork, man. Congrats!
BEAUTIFUL page, man. Congrats. Bob Wiacek Inked this page, btw. I posted the process for my tumblr, including the published version. Cheers again bud!

Both comics.org and marvel.wikia.com list the inker as Mike Esposito, and Johnny Craig inked the interiors. You own the cover, so I figured I would run it by you. Do you know definitively that Johnny inked the Dean for the cover? I remain in constant awe of your collection!

Thanks for the comment on MY Walt Simonson Thor sketch. I'm relatively certain that yours is better though!
I was just reading the AoA omnibus last night, and I was wondering who the lucker bugger is that owns this thing. Congrats, dude. I've never seen a better Apocalypse pic.
Wow. The bottom fell out on this one, huh? Hope you didn't pay too much for a particularly good example of rather obscure pop-culture reference to an ironically popular "star" from the early '80s. You looking for any Gary Glitter collectibles too? How about a signed AZIA poster?
