Cheers once more! It was a privately commissioned piece for a Dredd fan's 40th birthday present, bought by his wife! LOL I do take private commissions so if you fancy 'anything' painting whatsoever then just ask! D.Millgate
Cheers Chris! It's just shy of A2 size (so quite large!) And up for sale (price £350) D.Millgate
Hi Chris, I've just done some covers for IDW. The Sin/Dex variant ones. Although these were only black & white line art (and coloured by someone else) As for 2000AD... I've given up trying to get covers (or indeed any other kind of work from them) as they seem intent on ignoring anything I do no matter what I show them? I've no idea what I"ve done to end up in this situation. It's a real mystery to me really? I sent the Megopolis piece to the editor and he liked the mood, but complained about Dredd's gun being 'weird'. Simon Bisley saw this piece on a table at a convention I attended and he said it was "Awesome!!!" So that felt good. I got his approval if not the editors. It is still up for sale if you're interested in buying it? I still have it here, in a frame. Derek Riggs was a BIG influence on my art when I started my career. I love his Maiden covers!!! Cheers D.Millgate

Hi Chris, Cheers! It's just shy of A2 size (quite large) D.Millgate
Yeah...many thanks! The movie still holds up today with no cgi and that proves how good the fx were. And also the paranoia and suspense in the story are what made it a classic!
Many thanks Jason and it was very good to meet you at Bristol. I'll be posting more art up here from now on so please keep checking my gallery for my newest stuff...Cheers!
