Por cierto, la página es inicio de una escena que termina en la que tengo yo. Este 257 es uno de los números más especiales de los FF de Byrne, ¡y eso que hizo muchos que fueron muy buenos!

Sí que es "King Size".

Para tener una mejor visión del tema, he incluido una comparativa con el original del nº 1 del Vol. 1 del mismo personaje.

About "100% Byrne pencils and inks."

Don't get me wrong, but this page is from the period inked by Jerry Ordway, as stated in the credits. The finish texture is unmistakable.

Truth be told, when I came across these comics in 1985, I didn't quite agree with the decision to have Ordway. I preferred Byrne's own inking. But with the passage of time, I have ended up evaluating this inking very positively. An inking that in regards to the armor of Dr. Doom (Dr. Muerte in Spain), it looks especially good. Congratulations, you have a page worthy of a museum.

A very Strange page! Very Strange... but I like it very much! 

Estás en un error. Este original fue pintado por López Espí en tamaño grande. También sé que la aparecida en el primer número fue realizada en gran tamaño. Pude verla cuando compré este original. Ambas tenían el mismo precio, pero me decanté por el Nº 2 oficial por razones evidentes. A pesar de que no soy el mayor fan del mundo del Motorista Fantasma, una imagen tan potente como ésta valía la pena el esfuerzo económico y también el hecho de tener que guardarla en un súper forro que tenía reservado para un original USA pre-67.

Sí señor, estoy de acuerdo en que se trata de una de las portadas de referencia del Volumen 1 de La Masa.

Por cierto, ¿dice López Espí que una de sus tres portadas favoritas (de aquella mítica colección, claro) se publicó en el nº 12?

Reconozco que ese recuerdo subyacente existió... De cualquier forma, nadie mejor que John Byrne para visualizar un sepelio... Le salen de muerte...

¡Gracias! Han sido muchos años de esfuerzo ímprobo hasta completar una colección que me está proporcionando grandes momentos. Al menos, a mí me gusta mucho. ;-) Un día de estos tengo que subir la del Nº 1 de Capitán América. Y cuando la del nº 1 de Patrulla-X tenga 1000 visitas, seguro que subo otra de mi colección favorita!! ¡Incluso puede que antes!

Although he does not have the hero or a great fight, this is undoubtedly a great page.
