Thanks guys! Anyone considering a commission, I give Frank my highest recommendation...he's quick to respond, very fair, and (obviously!) has the skills!
Once again, Frank really delivers! I had no idea that he had never drawn either of these characters! I half-way jokingly told Frank that apparently, given my commission choices, I'll have to make sure I only pick things he has never done before (I'm the same guy that commissioned the He-Man vs. Skeletor piece--two characters he also had not done before!).
This was the first piece of original art I ever purchased, and the first one I ever sold. I regret selling it everyday...but I'm glad that I finally found out where it is! Great memories....
Thanks guys...yep, that's mine! I had wanted a nice He Man piece done more in the barbarian-style like when it started out (as opposed to the cartoon-ish thing it became). Frank was great. Very fast turnaround, gave me an email with the prelim before he started, to make sure it had approval (which OF COURSE it did!). I'm glad someone has this scanned...i don't have the knowledge of how to do that. I just got it in the mail this week, and am very pleased. Frank laughed that the didn't have many requests for He Man. That's when I sent him some reference photos, and suggested it was basically like Conan. I think he did a phenomenal job (of course the original looks 10 times better than the scan!)
