Almost looks like the same scene from one of your Escorza Bros pieces. The rate and speed at which they pump out such intricatly beautiful illustrations makes my jaw drop.
Aw yeah! Also, I totally forgot how big your Ronin and TMNT collection has gotten. I commented on that Leo page because I'm super jelly. Such a good collection!
This is my favorite page in the entire first series. The somberness Ben put into Leo's expressions...
He's a master at inking, so using the duotone in that way just comes so naturally to him and is so darn impressive. I totally agree with you, it is a bold decision to ink/shade that way when most people would do the exact opposite.
I think the contrast between both works really well and shows off how he can work in multiple styles. I'm not sure which one I love more. It was a great experience working with him, and he knocked this out overnight.
