One of my favorite creators drawing one of my favorite characters and happens to be one of my favorite Punisher covers ever! I remember meeting Joe at Graham Crackers Comics in Naperville IL when I was just a kid and telling him how cool it was that he works the skull into the environments of his Punisher covers. At the time he told me I was the first one to spot it on this cover. Made 14 year old me feel pretty cool. Congrats on owning such a treasure!

Thanks for sharing this. I still have the poster and program that featured this art but I never attended the auction or saw the original work because I was a young teenager and had to leave early because a friend's mom was picking us up. I have fond memories associated with this art.
