God that’s amazing. Eduardo and Mignola can use Black like no one else. Even among the pieces Eduardo has done this is exceptional. I’m on his waitlist for a much simpler piece haha but I am absolutely in awe of this.
It’s nice to know there are other AV fans out there who miss this book. Funny enough I tweeted to Scott Snyder about AV’s return and he was adamant that they were hard at work on bringing it back next year. Unrelated to that I was at a signing Rafael was doing in L.A. for a Study in Emerald and when I asked him he basically said he has no idea “it’s all Scott”. Haha.
Yeah I have more AV art by Rafael. A double page spread from Second Cycle and a page from the Blacklist arc but I need to find a scanner big enough to upload it. 😂
Thanks Jimmy. The cast has changed a lot since this issue came out but I was so happy to get a page that had the then current entire main cast. Wes is great at really displaying that comradery and angst. I hope to get some more Deadly Class pages from him in the future.
