God that’s amazing. Eduardo and Mignola can use Black like no one else. Even among the pieces Eduardo has done this is exceptional. I’m on his waitlist for a much simpler piece haha but I am absolutely in awe of this.

It’s nice to know there are other AV fans out there who miss this book. Funny enough I tweeted to Scott Snyder about AV’s return and he was adamant that they were hard at work on bringing it back next year. Unrelated to that I was at a signing Rafael was doing in L.A. for a Study in Emerald and when I asked him he basically said he has no idea “it’s all Scott”. Haha.

Yeah I have more AV art by Rafael. A double page spread from Second Cycle and a page from the Blacklist arc but I need to find a scanner big enough to upload it. 😂

Thanks Jimmy. The cast has changed a lot since this issue came out but I was so happy to get a page that had the then current entire main cast. Wes is great at really displaying that comradery and angst. I hope to get some more Deadly Class pages from him in the future.

Haha, I've been there. Thank you! Yeah, his style is amazing. Its this fantastic mix between Frank Miller and Bruce Timm but still wholly original. Your recreations a great. The X-Men one is out of this world.

Even though his time on X-force was really reaaaally short I always thought Rafael drew the cast really well. And his X-23 is amazing. Congrats on the piece.

Cliff Chiangs Orion is one of my favorite artistic interpretations of the character in recent memory and his battle with the first born was beyond epic. Great piece.

I just saw a commission that Rafael did of Pearl and Skinner as they appeared in the blacklist. It was the worst Pearl Jones I have ever seen. You have a Pearl Jones commission that is total Pearl Jones. You have an absolutely amazing piece. Congrats.
